The Sepang International Circuit is located 60km from the centre of Kuala Lumpur and 13km from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Trying to get between the circuit and the city via taxi can take a long time and can be expensive. We recommend taking the KLIA transit train to the airport and the connecting shuttle bus which runs directly to the circuit. Estimated journey time is approximately 50 minutes each way.
Alternatively the RapidKL bus run a direct transfer from central locations to the Sepang Circuit. pick-up/drop-off locations are at KL Sentral & Suria KLCC. The first bus will depart at 8:00am and run every 30-45 minutes (last bus departs at 12:00pm). Returning buses depart from 4:00pm through to 7:00pm (8:30pm on Sunday) departing every 30-45 minutes. Daily charge is RM20 for a one way ticket or RM35 for a return ticket (TBC). Estimated journey time is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes each way.
All information is based on previous years' event.
